Fire protection assistants (DGUV I 205-023 / ASR A2.2)

The GWO Working at Heights course is designed for individuals who are employed in the wind energy industry. Participants will learn how to work safely at height in a wind turbine environment.

• Practical training with fire extinguishers
• Legal basis (§ 10 ArbSchG, ASR A2.2 “Measures against fires”, DGUV Regulation 1, DGUV Information 205-023 (BGI/GUV-I 5182))
• Recognizing fire hazards
• Safety measures during fire work (welding, flame cutting, soldering)
• Alarm plans and emergency plans
• Escape and rescue plans
• Organization at collection points
• Support in planning, preparation and implementation of evacuation drills
• Ensuring the independent escape of employees
• Practical exercises (fire fighting exercises)
• Practical demonstrations
